Partner with Creativity Works and invest in a proven approach that transforms lives, strengthens society, and drives lasting social and economic impact.
Amplifying
UNDER-REPRESENTED VOICES
By giving underrepresented groups the chance to make, imagine, and play, we unlock new voices, ideas, and stories that broaden cultural perspectives, strengthen social cohesion, and stimulate local creative economies.
Strengthening
PLACE
Dig under the surface of any community and you’ll unearth extraordinary riches of ideas, skills, experience, contacts and energy. Pull them all together and you can create a powerful force far greater than the individual sum of the parts.
Supporting
WELLBEING
Creativity is a force for wellbeing, connection, and growth. When people have the chance to create, share, and explore, it strengthens minds, communities, and opportunities alike. What starts as a spark of imagination can ripple out to transform lives and local economies.
THE TEAM
We’re Jane, Rob, and Kate—the team behind Creativity Works. Between us, we bring decades of experience in arts, community development, and creative enterprise, keeping our work strategic, inclusive, and impactful.
We combine creative strategy, programme design, operations, research, and participatory practice, covering every stage of a project—from co-creating community initiatives to designing evaluation frameworks and supporting cultural policy.
We work with a brilliant network of freelance creatives and associates, bringing in the right skills for every project. Our strong connections across the creative sector mean we know exactly who to call to make ideas come alive.
TOGETHER, WE DELIVER COMMUNITY-DRIVEN PROJECTS THAT INSPIRE, CONNECT, AND CREATE LASTING IMPACT—ALWAYS COLLABORATIVE, ALWAYS INCLUSIVE, AND ALWAYS FULL OF ENERGY.
OUR STORY
Creativity Works is a new organisation that grew out of a successful project run by our team through our sister company, Create North, which helped creative practitioners earn from their work. That original project—also called Creativity Works—set out to support enterprise development and spark creativity in one of County Durham’s most deprived areas.
We opened doors for local people to try creative activities, connect with cultural institutions, and build confidence and skills through meaningful engagement. The project was so successful, we realised there was a need for a dedicated organisation focused on these goals: supporting creativity, amplifying underrepresented voices, and driving social, cultural, and economic impact.
From that spark, Creativity Works CIC was born. Today, we co-create projects that inspire, connect, and make a real, lasting difference—always community-driven, always playful, and always creative.
